Work and Head Lamps
OSHA places specific standards on directional lighting on the forklift if the normal lights are less than 2 lumens per square foot. This makes sufficient lighting a safety requirement at night time or inside of darkened buildings.
Yale offers optional lighting to meet the applications needs of every client. These options include LED options and halogen lighting options that are both designed in order to resist damaging effects of weather conditions, shock and vibration, while increasing visibility in low ambient light settings.
Operator Restraint Systems
The operator restraint system is engineered for a tip over event. This system helps keep the operators head and torso within the confines of the lift truck frame and overhead guard. Utilizing an operator restraint system properly can really reduce the likelihood of serious injury from occurring. Every one of the newer Yale lift trucks includes Hip Restraints and an Anti-Cinch Seat Belt as part of their standard equipment. Yale is proud to provide operator restraint systems that are capable of being retrofitted into various older Yale lift trucks.
