A kind of equipment in the material handling business that could be used to lift and transport loads from one place to another is referred to as a forklift. Mast
The components utilized to lift and lower the load is known as the forklift mast. There are different types of masts for raising loads to different heights: duplex, triplex, quad and simplex.

Power Supply
There are four different ways you can power a forklift: electric, gas, diesel and propane. The battery is situated within the cab under the seat. The propane tank is on the rear of the truck. The fuel tank on diesel and gas forklifts is beneath the rear of the truck.

Cab
The forklift cab is located in the middle of the truck. This is where the operator sits and accesses all the controls and informational gauges. The gas pedal, steering wheel, brake, lifting controls and tilting controls are all located within the cab.

Frame
Carrying all the largest forklift parts is the frame of the truck. This includes the counterweights located at the rear which prevents the truck from tipping over when loaded. The frame includes the overhead guard that protects the operator. The undercarriage holds the wheels, driveshaft and axles.
