Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your requirements, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been designed and made such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being developed and designed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices could restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
