Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. Various industries, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel business, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all working with and depending on heavy duty equipment. The power and efficiency provided by the units keep operational costs low and provide the best conditions for efficient work. These machines can excel in the most tough settings.
Offering the required power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with the 6 cylinder engines. These models can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It can climb on rough terrain and steep slopes and provides great acceleration as well.
To be able to pick 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator could utilize a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or tough terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Additionally, simply by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving feature. The forklift's fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment comfortable to utilize and easy to maneuver.
The well-ventilated cabin offers a comfortable and spacious working place. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps ensure the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was designed ergonomically to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on giving the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai machines are supposed to have.
