Taylor Machine Works has been designing, building, and marketing empty container handlers ever since the year 1976. The "Big Red" line of Taylors empty container handlers has all the experience and knowledge built in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are known as "All American" units since they are manufactured and designed within the USA. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The business strives to maintain their dedication of designing and manufacturing the best and most productive, most reliable container handling machinery around, anywhere in the world.
The company's empty container handlers are outfitted with a huge range of attachments and masts so as to better suit your particular needs. The following is a list of units with their basic attachment and mast.
To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty reefer containers and empty ISO standard containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment is able to expand. Any containers measuring more than 40 feet need to have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has electrical signal lights in the cab, 4 corner twist-locks, 2 work lights and hydraulic slewing.
Able to deal with 2 separate 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time is the ELME attachment. It allows for numerous containers to be stacked on top of each other. Furthermore, this attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks that insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings as well as the upper containers bottom corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be carried out.
Drive Train
Every unit of the Taylor container lift trucks utilizes a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air to air or charged air after-cooled diesel engine. Several of the standard engine features include diagnostic monitor and electronic maintenance, transmission/engine protection, improved fuel economy, less overall emissions and water/fuel separator. Additionally, the available transmission for all 3 units is a fully reversing, 3-speed, non-modulated, power-shift transmission. It is available along with inching capacity and remote shift control.
These particular models have been engineered specially to work in extreme climate in the roughest environments in the world. These units could work with ease through rough terrain, thick mud and deep snow. Having the ability to rely on a reliable machine when you are working in the middle of nowhere and in lousy conditions is certainly an important investment for your company.
